The History

AFFM was founded by John & Stephanie Schmidt & was officially recognized as a 501-C3 in 2009.  John & Stephanie are Ministry pioneers that have had over 2 decades of extensive & innovative Children’s Ministry experience. John has received numerous awards locally and internationally ranging from the Minister of the Year & Kingdom Builder Awards by River & Word Magazine to The TK Condon Community Service Award by Adult & Teen Challenge Ministry. And in 2020, both John & Stephanie received the Outreach Ministers of the Year Award. 

John has even received letters of response from 2 US Presidents and even the Queen of England in reference to The Children’s International Prayer Team he founded.

John & Stephanie are planting an AFFM Ministry base of operations in Ghana, Africa to live & work from while conducting Ministry.
